When you make a site in the Site Wizard you will automatically be given the opportunity to go online. If you are offline and want to go back online, you can click the online/offline button on the right side of the task bar. Pass your mouse pointer over the icons and you'll see a tooltip for each one that explains what it does. Click the icon and you'll be given a list of sites to choose from.
