Currently there is no easy
way from within Windows - for example, an icon in the
task bar - to tell if a server is running. The simplest
way to find out is to start Muse and see if the online/offline
button in the task bar says you are online. The tooltip
you see when you pass your mouse pointer over it will
say "Shared Mode" if you are online and "Offline
mode" if you are not. Another more technical way
is to start the Windows Task Manager and look for an
entry called mcc.exe in the process list. If one exists
and the main Muse Lite client is not running (also called
mcc.exe) then this will be a Muse server.
