Media Demo

The Media portal introduces a new interface for personalized web content. In this demo, various web modules, services and content are presented in a captivating 3D space. The Media portal demonstrates a progressive approach to user services and premium content in a way that utilizes today's increasing bandwidth and graphics capabilities.

Premium content such as breaking news, financial reports, rich advertising, email, shopping and more are combined with simple point and click navigation to provide a new user experience.

Sample Tour

Begin by clicking on the upper tabs of the web modules shown. For example, try clicking on the "CNN TOP HEADLINES' and again on "VIDEO NEWSCAST." Click on any of the tabs to move in for a closer look.

Next, try clicking on the "TOP BOX OFFICE" module and choose a movie trailer to watch. Click again on the trailer screen to zoom in. At any time, click "more" on any of the web modules to zoom into a view of 3 live web pages.

On the upper left side of the screen there is a home icon and channels listed below. The home icon takes the user back to the initial default view. By clicking the channel icons, the user is taken to 3 live web pages related to the channel chosen. To surf the web, simply click on the page of choice to zoom in. By clicking the '-' icon, all 3 web pages are brought into view once again.

Finally, there are 5 additional icons located in the upper right of the screen. Clicking each of these brings the user to a single web page. Click on the page to zoom in and surf. Close the page to return to the default view.

The pages, channels, and services chosen in this demo are used collectively to convey an alternative interface for personalized web content.

To return to the Muse Start Site, click the rotating Muse cube in the lower left of the screen.
